Steuart Ceylon Tea-Infused Rice

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups jasmine rice
  • 3 cups water
  • 1 tea bag of George Steuart Ceylon Tea
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon butter

Instructions:

  1. Rinse the jasmine rice under cold water until the water runs clear.
  2. In a medium saucepan, bring the water to a boil.
  3. Add the tea bag to the boiling water and let it steep for 3-5 minutes.
  4. Remove the tea bag and add the rinsed rice and salt to the tea-infused water.
  5. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat to low, cover, and simmer for 15-20 minutes, or until the rice is tender and the water is absorbed.
  6. Remove from heat and let it sit, covered, for an additional 5 minutes.
  7. Fluff the rice with a fork and stir in the butter.
  8. Serve as a side dish with your favorite main course.
