Steuart Ceylon Tea-Infused Rice
Ingredients:
- 2 cups jasmine rice
- 3 cups water
- 1 tea bag of George Steuart Ceylon Tea
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon butter
Instructions:
- Rinse the jasmine rice under cold water until the water runs clear.
- In a medium saucepan, bring the water to a boil.
- Add the tea bag to the boiling water and let it steep for 3-5 minutes.
- Remove the tea bag and add the rinsed rice and salt to the tea-infused water.
- Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat to low, cover, and simmer for 15-20 minutes, or until the rice is tender and the water is absorbed.
- Remove from heat and let it sit, covered, for an additional 5 minutes.
- Fluff the rice with a fork and stir in the butter.
- Serve as a side dish with your favorite main course.
